Rerolls, Prompt Cleanup, and Joining by Link

Letting hosts tune how many rerolls a prompt gets, killing the 4-letter code as the only way in, and the first What's New panel.

Reroll customization sounds like a small settings toggle and mostly is one: hosts can now decide how many times the person picking the topic is allowed to reroll for a different prompt before they're stuck with what they've got. It matters more at the table than it sounds like it should, since "just reroll it" versus "you get one reroll, make it count" changes the whole energy of picking a topic.

This day also carried a general cleanup pass, which is the least excitable thing to write about and the most necessary. A fast-moving solo project accumulates cruft fast, code that made sense for a week and then didn't, prompts that needed trimming, small inconsistencies nobody had gone back for. This is what paying that down looks like: unglamorous, unshippable as a headline feature, and worth doing anyway.

The actual headline feature is join-by-link: instead of typing a 4-letter code by hand, a host can now just drop a link in the group chat and everyone taps their way straight into the room. The code still works fine, this just removes a step for the group chat that's already the natural way people share things.

And the first What's New panel shows up on the homepage today, which is worth a small aside: this blog is basically that same idea given room to actually breathe, the long-form version of "here's what changed and why."

Search visibility kept climbing: 22 clicks, 95 impressions, a 23.16% click-through rate, average position 3.7, a strong day by the standards of the growth that had only just started. The site was now regularly clearing 100+ impressions on an ordinary day, up from single digits two months earlier.
