Short and light. Today was mostly internal documentation, the kind of writing that exists purely so the codebase is easier to pick back up after a week away, rather than anything worth describing in detail here.

There's also a house style rule now: no em dashes, anywhere, in code, comments, or copy, enforced with an actual sweep through the whole codebase rather than just applied going forward. This post follows that rule too, on principle.

The unglamorous maintenance work between features doesn't usually get its own post, but it's real work and it's worth admitting it happens. Still riding a strong week: 122 clicks, 515 impressions, 23.69% click-through, average position 5.7.
